Richard A. Steele is a business consultant with over 35 years experience in the sales and marketing of high technology products.   His consulting activities are focused on Product and Business Strategy, International Market Development and Distribution and Sales Channel Programs.

 

 

Prior to independent consulting, he served as Senior Vice President, Printronix for 10 years. During that time he personally led development of new international marketing and sales operations in China, India, Eastern Europe and Russia. Additionally, he managed the growth of the U.S. and Western European with new products and channel expansion. Mr. Steele has expertise in the management of direct sales, distributors, vars, dealers and OEM relationships including IBM, Hewlett Packard, Unisys, DEC, Compaq, Bull, Memorex and Seimens.

 

Richard served as Division Vice President, General Manager for Datagraphix and held management and marketing positions with IBM, Dataware Development and Talaris systems.

 

He attended Millikin University where he received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering. Later he studied business administration at St Louis University and University of Missouri).  He has also attended the Stanford University Executive AEA.

 

Richard is Chairman of the Corporate Partners Program for the Graduate School of Business, University Of California, Irvine. He has been an active member of the American Electronic Association having served on the Orange County Executive Council.
